Age Concern Bracknell Forest: A Legacy of Community and Compassion

For over fifty years, Age Concern Bracknell Forest has proudly served as a beacon of support and unity within the community. Their mission extends beyond merely assisting older people; they are dedicated to fostering a connected and inclusive environment for all.

At the heart of their services is a specialised day centre for those with dementia. This centre is more than just a place—it's a sanctuary where safety and comfort are paramount. These welcoming walls offer various activities designed to engage and uplift. Each day, from energetic games and creative crafts to stimulating quizzes and lively bingo sessions, is crafted to nurture joy, laughter, and meaningful connections.

But their vision reaches further. They are committed to breaking down barriers and reducing isolation through intergenerational community groups, clubs, and events. These initiatives exemplify their dedication to inclusivity and belief that every generation has something valuable to offer and receive.

They are excited to announce a significant new chapter in their journey: Age Concern Bracknell Forest is now the official operator of the Bucklers Park Community Hub. This new role allows them to work hand-in-hand with the local community to create a space that truly reflects the needs and aspirations of everyone it serves. They look forward to sharing more about this exciting development and the many opportunities it will bring.

Age Concern Bracknell Forest would like to thank you for your continued support as they embark on this transformative journey together. Stay tuned for more updates on how they are working to enrich and strengthen the community.
